During that time, God was preparing them for something bigger! In 2012, Green Again Lawn was born with a primary goal of serving clients through professionalism, clear communication, and building genuine relationships.

As the company grew, Britt and Brooke made a promise: their employees would never feel like just employees. Instead, they would be welcomed into a family, valued from day one, and supported throughout their journey at Green Again Lawn. From offering job security through the winter to walking with each person through their life’s challenges, they’ve built a culture of care.

This culture isn’t just about being one of the best places to work in Kansas City—it’s about creating a space where people can grow into the best versions of themselves. Hard work has been reframed as a blessing, calling people to rise above what they thought they were capable of.

GIVE – The Why Britt and Brooke have always felt called to do more than just run a business—they wanted to make a difference. After stepping out in faith to fully fund their own adoption using Green Again’s profits, they were inspired to do more. This led to the creation of the Dowd Foundation in 2020.

The Dowd Foundation exists to help couples called to adopt but held back by the financial burden. With God’s blessing and the growth of Green Again Lawn, they’ve fully funded five adoptions, supported birth moms, and assisted struggling families, providing over $200,000 in aid so far.
