Weeds are terrible for your lawn. They cause damage by draining the resources from your grass to use for themselves. This will cause your grass to grow a lot slower and cause poor nutrient uptake. We combat weeds using our pre and post-emergent weed control treatments.

These treatments serve the same purpose but achieve results through different processes. Pre-emergent weed control will essentially form a layer over your soil to keep the weeds from growing out of the soil and onto the surface of your lawn. On the other hand, our post-emergent weed control treatments are applied to kill any weeds that have already breached the surface of your soil.

When you schedule our weed control service, we will include four rounds of our treatments which are outlined on the schedule below:

• Early spring treatment: In our early spring treatment, our crew will use our pre-emergent liquid herbicide to stop germinating weeds below the surface of your lawn.
• Mid-to-late spring treatment: This treatment will be sprayed on your lawn with another round of pre-emergent weed control to help prevent the weeds from breaking the soil.
• Early summer treatment: Our third visit to your property will include treating any weeds that have sprouted in your lawn with post-emergent weed control. This visit will also include treatment for nutsedge, which is a grassy, weed-like sedge that also steals nutrients from your grass.
• Mid-to-late summer treatment: The next and last treatment of the year includes the second application of post-emergent weed control to deal with any remaining weeds.
